Most Christians don't realize that one of the most dangerous places in the world is Christian book stores, unfortunately. So many of them are shelved with books and resources that not only contain error, but downright heresy. Sadly, the reality is that Christian book stores are in the business of making money, so they don't place as much of a limit as they probably should on what gets shelf-approved, considering the damage that error and heresy can cause to people. We want to always preach, teach, and lead in such a way that elevates and promotes the vital necessity of truth in the Christian's life, so in an effort to do that, we've created a listing of some of the incredibly helpful resources the Lord has used some saints to write over the centuries, knowing the light these things can bring when carefully incorporated into the normal study and routine of Christian learning and sanctification. We hold to sola scriptura (Scripture alone as the sole, infallible rule of faith and practice for the Church) and tota scriptura (all of Scripture), so none of these resources are on the same level as Scripture, which is theopneustos (God-breathed) revelation from God, but the Lord sure has seen fit to graciously use men and women in the generations since the canon of the Bible was closed to write incredibly helpful and clarifying works to aid in helping Christians know and understand the Bible with more depth and breadth, and help the Church live out all that God's called us to in practical ways.
